We designed a series of high-energy videos showcasing Indiana’s robust industry ecosystem to companies and site selectors.

As one of our long-standing partners, INzone has trusted INNOVATIVE to develop a wide range of marketing materials that demystify the federal Foreign-Trade Zone program, while also promoting economic development efforts across Indiana.

This year, when we sat down to discuss what assets would be beneficial, we landed on the idea of a video series that featured Indiana’s key industry sectors. INzone often works with local economic development organizations (LEDOs) to promote business attraction across the state, and these new videos would help highlight the strategic differentiators that set Indiana apart.

Each video would center around a different industry sector, showcasing the state’s strengths to help engage and persuade companies and site selectors that Indiana’s industry ecosystem is worth their investment. INzone also wanted these videos to disrupt the typical economic development chatter by taking a bold, modern approach that would ignite a sense of FOMO in the audience.

Once the initial industries were selected—Automotive, BioPharma, and Emerging Technologies—our team jumped into the creative phase. Research and scripting laid the foundation for each story, followed by storyboard development and video production, bringing each sector to life through compelling visuals and clear, strategic messaging.

The videos were designed to feel part of a cohesive series, while still customized for each industry sector.

Creating videos that are simultaneously sleek, informative, and undeniably engaging is no simple task. We began by crafting scripts that boldly boast Indiana’s strengths with a casual, effortless kind of confidence. From there, we simply needed a consistent visual style that could support the high-energy, fast-paced script.

While each video needed its own identity, it was equally important that the series felt cohesive. We landed on a unifying theme of The Crossroads of Industry and Innovation, which became the inspiration for the storyboard design and transition animations. That style remains consistent across the series, while using unique iconography and color palettes to visually signal which industry is our focus.

We were equally intentional in our approach to imagery. Our team worked directly with multiple Indiana companies to source updated footage, secure usage approvals, and ensure visuals accurately reflected the scale, innovation, and momentum of each industry.

These videos will help local economic development organizations bring new business and more jobs to Indiana.

At their core, the videos were created to speak directly to companies considering expansion or relocation, positioning Indiana as a place where businesses can thrive. From our supply chain to our talent pipeline, these scripts not only highlight the companies in our robust business ecosystem, but also how they work together to support growth, innovation, and long-term industry success.

And in the end, each video concludes with a unifying message that ties the story back to the Foreign-Trade Zone program and how INzone helps Central Indiana companies do business smarter—not harder.

The videos live year-round on the INzone website as a resource for international companies evaluating Indiana and are also available to LEDOs as tools to support business attraction efforts.
