Greg Ballard, former Indianapolis Mayor, came to INNOVATIVE looking to create a logo for his new brand, Post-Oil Technology. After reviewing some ideas he brought in for the kick-off, we began to discuss the goals and objectives for the Post-Oil Technology branding.
After the initial kick-off meeting, we got right to work. We wanted to incorporate some of the Mayor's ideas from his sketches, but also make sure that when someone looked at the brand's logo that it felt tied to more than just electric vehicles because it is so tied to the men and women of the military. For us, incorporating America's most patriotic symbol, the flag, was the best way to merge the important elements of this brand.
While this logo design was the beginning of our partnership, we have since begun work on redesigning the presentation Greg Ballard uses when he goes on speaking engagements and the website he will drive people to moving forward. Our partnership will continue to grow as we help the Mayor book additional speaking gigs, create social content, write blogs, and more. As a company, we believe in the message of this movement, and are excited to grow the brand and this partnership for years to come.
