Gold Don't Quit
The Pacers and INNOVATIVE have been partnering for 20 years to create energizing and memorable arena experiences. The 2018-2019 arena open is no different. Over the years, this project has increased in complexity as the league has introduced new rules and the Fieldhouse has added additional screen real estate.
As always, we presented three different creative options for the arena open. Each of the options needed to help the Pacers enhance their “We Grow Basketball Here” branding. Two of the options did that visually.
Ultimately, the Pacers went with an option that focused less on the visual branding from “We Grow Basketball Here,” and instead highlighted the underlying messaging from the campaign. This concept really focuses on the fact that basketball is in the DNA in Indiana….and especially in the DNA of each Pacers player. In this open, the Pacers players visually become the game of basketball.
At INNOVATIVE, great service and building trust are two of our cornerstone values. Our decades long partnership with Pacers Sports and Entertainment and their various brands speaks to this directly. This year, our partnership grew beyond the arena open space and into the organization’s broader video marketing strategy.
